Sorry for the Cub's. I feel the Elec people did there homework and installed the right wire.
It does not sound like that is the problem. I would have to run a long way to make that big of deal. I don't know what to tell you? I would call a new elec co and get then to test the wire, and like Janet said it could be the ground.
