Thanks, Bill & Steve. Good info. I have tropicals in the tank. And plants. Plants seem to be doing fine. I know they are the first thing to look at when suspecting water quality probs. I think it may be the food. They dont' like it as well, so I think it's not being eaten as well, falling down and rotting. The water is cloudy too. I will go to Petsmart tomorrow and get the old food, we'll know if it changes then. Seems too obvious that this started the minute I got the new food. I vacuum well, and change the water about once a week or more (now). I have Angels, and they need to eat at least 3-4 times a day due to their high metabolisms. Small amounts though. But still.. if they're not eating it all, that could very well be the problem. Guess the KOI get the flakes now. ;) They're not as finickey. I love my KOI. They never give me any troubles.
