I have never tried, or heard of, fiber-glazing the inside of a pot. It would see like it may work but be a lot of trouble. I have seen pots being painted to slow down the water infiltration. If you paint it, be sure to let the paint cure sufficiently. If you plan to introduce fish to the system with the painted pot, use a paint that will not continue to leach out once cured. You can also contact a feed supply store, like Callahan’s, to see what they would recommend for live-stock watering troughs. Good luck....
