All of the parameters in your pond sound fine. I have had 2 fish die in my pond while all the rest were just fine too. I saw the problem when the second fish died. What was it/how did I handle it? I punished the cat for swatting the fish! The cat wasn't trying to catch or eat the fish - it seemed to know better -it just couldn't help itself when the fish came up to the top of the pond close to the shore. It reached out and swatted it in the head. The fish swam real slow for a while......and died. No blood, no way to know what had happened. Just happened to see it for myself.
