Hi, my blackmoor(DV) is six months and I have a problem. It started with his tail fin. The black appeared to be turning transparent. It appeared on the front edges of his pectoral fins, also. It doesn't look like any photo of fin rot but I went ahead and treated the tank for it. I also did ph, ammonia, and nitrite and nitrate tests, all within normal ranges. Could it be he is changing colors? I have noticed his belly has a golden hue to it and he is also keeping close company with the other fancy goldfish, kind of being pushy. I feed very small amounts several times a day, so he is getting enough to eat. He is very active, happy and attentive to me approaching the tank. Could he be wanting to spawn?
