I read on the internet that impatiens are happy living on waterfall ledges........ Here is the process I read and mine are thriving after one week.
1. Cut old pantyhose into lengths of about 3 inches.
2. Tie one end of hose.
3. Place impatiens in hose with a small amount of dirt that was originally with the plant.
4. Use a tie to secure the hose around the neck of the plant.
5. 'plant' the impatiens on the ledge where the root ball will remain wet.

A friend told me that geraniums will be happy as well, but I haven't tried them. Cheers to spring!
