Koi spawn in the spring so it definitely is not spawning. It is likely a water quality issue but to help you determine what is going on you need to provide some additional information. Can you give me the following numbers?
* Dimensions of pond (L x W x D)
* Size of pump (gph)
* Type of filter
* Test kit readings (drop kits, not strips) for: ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH
These are a good start to figuring out what is going on. Also, can you answer the following questions:
* Did you add anything to the pond -- plants, fish, rocks, driftwood, chemicals, etc?
* Have you or any neighbors recently fertilized or chemically treated your yards/flower beds/trees in any way?
