I would stay away from the PondMaster filters -- they clog quickly and are hard to clean. It's hard to beat the AlphaOne form AquaTek. It's their next generation of "AquaBead" filters -- because the AlphaOne isn't filled with beads it technically isn't a bead filter, but the size and overall outside look is the same as the tried-and-true AquaBead filters. The biggest difference is that the media is all new and the slots in the inlet pipes are larger, allowing for greater water flow.

AquaBead/AlphaOne are the only filters we recommend -- definitely from the voice of experience.
