My neighbor's son caught and kept a turtle from Town Lake. It got too big for the container the young man kept him in so it has since lived in our pond (all summer)and is quite a bit bigger! I have a rubber liner without sediment on it, so the turtle cannot dig, and there is no other food source. Should I make a nice habitat for him in my greenhouse or will the turtle do just fine outdoors without human input (I will, of course, do something to help him stay out in the pond area too if it's possible).
