I need advice for discouraging a persistent heron that has found our pond this week. I bought a "scarecrow" that responds very well to my movements and even the movements of papyrus and other tall plants being blown about today. But I sat and watched the heron for about 20 minutes today, and the sprinkler was not triggered. I think the heron moves so slowly its motion isn't detected by the sensor. I have it set on highest sensitivity, and the heron tiptoed right past it without setting it off. I wonder if anyone has had and solved a similar problem. Maybe we just have an exceptionally crafty heron. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
