Hi Elizabeth. Like you I have many questions (warning to all- I have a keyboard and intend to use it) and have only been watching or partipating on this wonderful board for a few months. Someone also told me - you ask 10 different people the same question and will get 9 different answers and the chances are the 2 who agree are wrong. But what I have seen already (I've read all the posts visible) is a thread of helpfullness and consistency. If someone gives you advice ecspecially like Helge he is probably to be listened to. I have also realized ponding is like many things. It is part of the 'trip' to figure out what works for you and your own little pond. I have diabetes and the same is so true there. They can tell you definite do's and don'ts but there are many things in between you must try, observe and decide how to make your pond/body work the best for you. It would be nice if all the answers were pat but I think by being an active participant in the process it makes it all the more gratifying. Fortunately we seem to be blessed with many guides on this board who will most likely keep us from falling too hard. Everyone I have met on or offline, so far, definitely came outta that 'good people' pond. Good Luck, Have Fun and Thanxx to all you 'good people'.
