This time of year with the cold water all my Koi huddle together in the deepest part of the pond most of the time. They will move around in the heat of the day some but are not nearly as active as they will be when the water temp is warmer. I don't feed my Koi in the winter at all. If they get hungry there is plenty of material in the pond that they can feed on. I have tried putting a little feed into the water once in awhile and they seem very disinterested in coming to the surface to feed.
