The Beauty of Water Lilies and Lotus.

Before attending the Austin Pond Society monthly meeting held at Zilker Botanical Gardens this past Monday, I had the opportunity to take a few pictures of the Willy Burg Memorial Pond that is putting on a show of water lilies and lotus. Every year, under the guidance of Darren Bayhi assisted by volunteers from the Pond Society, they clean and scrub out this pond and then spend considerable time in re-potting the water lilies and lotus and the other plants that occupy this pond throughout the year.
